March 10, 2012 3:22 PM

Catherine Curran (Laganbank)Alliance Belfast Councillor for the area Catherine Curran has condemned the petrol bomb attack on a house in Rugby Avenue in Belfast on Friday night. The petrol bomb was thrown through a kitchen window but was put out with water by a person inside the house at the time of the attack.
Cllr Catherine Curran said: "This must have been an frightening experience for those inside the house at the time. Luckily the fire was put out before it could take hold and cause serious damage or injury.
"I do not know how anybody could justify an attack like this. Those responsible for this attack are obviously very dangerous individuals.
"I would urge anybody with any information about this attack to contact the police. The people behind this petrol bomb attack must be urgently apprehended by the authorities to be punished by the courts."
