Lunn welcomes opening of Lisburn learning centre

Lagan Valley Alliance MLA Trevor Lunn has said he is very pleased that a centre for adults with learning disabilities is opening today in Lisburn. The Lisburn Assessment and Resource Centre was under construction for the past two years and includes an indoor garden and independent training flat.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: "I am extremely pleased that this centre is up and running today. This is a vital resource for adults with learning difficulties and their families.

"Everyone deserves the chance to have an independent life and this centre will provide excellent training.

"This centre is a new world of improvement from the previous centre and I am very pleased that Lisburn has it."
