Lo praises bravery of police officer who saved man in fire

South Belfast Alliance MLA Anna Lo has commended the courage of a police officer who saved a man in a house fire in South Belfast. The fire happened on India Street at around 9pm last night.

Anna Lo MLA said: "This was an amazing act of bravery. I would like to take this opportunity to praise the courage of the police officer who saved the man.

"Real life heroes like this illustrate how committed our police officers are, both on and off-duty.

"This must however have been a very traumatic incident for the man who was saved and my best wishes are with him during his recovery."
