Alliance MLA Anna Lo has attacked the thugs who created suspect devices which were found in Northern Ireland over the past 24 hours saying they cannot destabilize peace and progress. Suspect devices have been found in Invest NI Headquarters in Belfast city centre and on the Newry - Portadown railway line.

Anna Lo MLA said: "These activities are totally disgraceful. Everyone had hoped we had heard the last of sickening news reports like these.

"The thugs involved in these incidents are incapable of accepting that Northern Ireland is at peace and wants to be at peace forever.

"These perpetrators need to realize that their disgusting actions will not succeed. Northern Ireland is moving forward. The US Investment Conference is a sign of how far we have come and progress and prosperity will not be prevented by a thoughtless minority."
