Alliance South Belfast MLA has strongly welcomed the announcement of an £18 million regeneration project for Ormeau Embankment. Graham construction will develop a business park on the Ravenhill Reach site which has the potential to create 650 new jobs in the area.

Anna Lo MLA said: "Today's announcement is great news for South Belfast and the wider Belfast area.

"What Northern Ireland needs are more high skill, high value jobs and hopefully this project will deliver them.

"This exciting project is one on a number of new initiatives throughout the South Belfast that shows the area has massive potential. Schemes like this show that Northern Ireland is open for business and can compete with the economic world leaders."
