East Antrim Alliance MLA Seán Neeson

East Antrim Alliance MLA Seán Neeson is backing local residents in their opposition to a planning application for land to the East of Meadowbank farm in Jordanstown.

The East Antrim MLA said: "I support the substantial objections from local residents to the planning application for land East of Meadow bank farm in Jordanstown.

"This matter is already an issue for the Planning Appeals Commission, and until it makes a response, a determination on this planning application would be totally premature.

"The proposal lacks any communal or play space, and is an overdevelopment of the site. There are also serious concerns about access to such a substantial development in the Jordanstown area."
