Alliance Education Spokesperson Trevor Lunn MLA is meeting the Education Minister Caítriona Ruane on Wednesday in a bid to secure the long-term future of the Buddy Bear Trust, which provides conductive education for children with cerebral palsy.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: "The conductive education work undertaken by the Buddy Bear Trust gives children with cerebral palsy more opportunities and independence. The work that they do is remarkable. A relatively small amount of money would do a massive amount of good and would mean the world to everyone involved.

"Its time for a fair deal for children with cerebral palsy. The parents, staff and most importantly the children, deserve a future with this vital service secure in the long term."
