Alliance Leader wishes Paisley and McGuinness good luck for US trip9.54.00am GMT Mon 3rd Dec 2007
Alliance Leader David Ford has backed the First and Deputy First Leader on their week-long investment mission to the US. Opposition Leader David Ford said: "I hope the Ministers will be successful in their mission to attract high value jobs to Northern Ireland. Despite the difficult start internally, it is clear that the Executive has considerable goodwill across America. "It's good to see Ian Paisley and Martin McGuinness painting a positive picture of Northern Ireland in the US. I wish them the best of luck and want to see them deliver for Northern Ireland. "They have made much play of their feelgood factor since the return of devolution. They must now cash in on its potential so that local people can benefit from it." ENDS
