Alliance Enterprise Spokesperson Séan Neeson MLA has hailed news that a California based firm are planning to create up to 80 new jobs in Belfast. This jobs boost comes from a £9 million investment from utility storage manufacturer 3PAR

The East Antrim Assembly Member said: "Its great news that Silicon Valley giant 3PAR are planning to create up to 80 new jobs in Belfast.

"I am also very pleased that these posts relate to research and development work. These new jobs are high value and are exactly the type of employment that we need to create sustainable development within our economy.

"Today's announcement is also positive because it strengthens the private sector. This is essential to give Northern Ireland the progress it needs in order to build a vibrant economy."
