South Belfast Alliance Representative Anna Lo

South Belfast Alliance Assembly Candidate Anna Lo has expressed shock and disgust at a series of six of burglaries and attempted car thefts which took place in South Belfast in the early hours of Monday morning. The incidents, which police think were carried out by the same gang, took place in Dunmurry, Derriaghy and Finaghy and Newforge Dale.

Anna Lo said: "I am appalled at this spate of incidents. Such acts have absolutely no place whatsoever in our society.

"It is very distressing for local residents as they may feel very vulnerable at this time.

"People in the area should try to be vigilant, and anyone with information on these incidents should contact the police immediately to assist them with their investigation."
