Alliance condemns armed robbery in Nutts Corner

Antrim Alliance Councillor, Cllr Alan Lawther, has condemned those behind an armed robbery in Nutts Corner. Shots were fired, but no-one was injured during the cash box robbery by a gang at Tully Road in Nutts Corner which took place at 07.30 this morning.

Alan Lawther said: "I strongly condemn this despicable act. The fact that shots were fired during this incident shows the intent of the gang involved. Such blatant disregard for people's safety is abhorrent.

"I appeal to anyone who has information on this robbery to contact police immediately to ensure that the gang involved can be swiftly brought to justice."
