Alliance representative offers condolences to Ballymena victim's family11.40.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Tue 19th Sep 2006
Alliance Party Representative in Ballymena Jayne Dunlop has expressed her shock at the death of a woman in suspicious circumstances in the town this evening. Speaking having visited the scene, Ms Dunlop, a former Ballymena Councillor, stated: "I am shocked at the death of a woman in what appear to be very suspicious circumstances. "The sight of a forensic team and a large number of police officers at the scene was sobering. "This is extremely sad and I offer my condolences to the victim's family." ENDS
