Ballymena Alliance Representative, Jayne Dunlop has rebuked those involved in an attack on a house in Rathmore Heights in Ballymena, and has called for the recent spiral of attacks to end now before someone is killed. The petrol bombing took place in the early hours of Sunday morning and a window of a car in the driveway of the house was also smashed.

Jayne Dunlop said: "I am saddened by yet another attack on a house in the Ballymena area. In the past few months the frequency of such attacks has greatly increased.

"This trend is extremely disturbing and must be stopped now before someone is killed in of these petrol bombings.

"In the past two weeks we have also seen attacks in the Milfield, Dunvale and Dunfane Park areas.

"Such incidents are disgraceful and this horrific chain of attacks must be broken.

"I would appeal to anyone who has information on these attacks to contact police immediately, so that the perpetrators can be brought to justice."
