Ballymena Alliance representative Jayne Dunlop has described her fury at yet another petrol bomb attack in Ballymena, this time on a car in Dunvale, saying that the situation has degenerated completely.

Jayne Dunlop, a past Ballymena Councillor and Party Chair, stated: "The situation in Ballymena is just getting ridiculous. Almost every night we hear of another new, pathetic attack.

"People are really frustrated and cross and the inability of our community leaders, not least our political representatives, to get to grips with what is going on.

"How much shame must be brought upon this town before this sort of nonsense stops? Is it going to take another fatality for people to wise up?"
