Dunlop welcomes new Ballycastle school and calls for more integrated education

Alliance North Antrim Representative, Jayne Dunlop, has welcomed the announcement that a new integrated primary school will open in Ballycastle, and has called for more integrated schools to be provided in the North Antrim area.

Jayne Dunlop said: "I am glad that parents in Ballycastle have been successful in their campaign to create an integrated primary school in the area.

"Integrated education plays an extremely important part in bringing young people together and helping build a shared future in Northern Ireland."

Jayne Dunlop concluded: "Its great to hear that another integrated school is being established however, the North Antrim area needs more provision in this sector and I call on government to create more of these type of schools in the area."
