Alliance slams perpetrators of sectarian Lurgan petrol bombing

Alliance Craigavon Representative, Sean Hagan, has slammed the perpetrators of a petrol bomb attack on the home of a pensioner on the Tandragee Road in Lurgan. The sectarian attack took place on the house in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Sean Hagan said: "I condemn this despicable act. It is horrific that a pensioner's house was attacked.

"This type of incident has no place in any society that seeks to uphold the rule of law. We are trying to build a peaceful and stable society here, and sectarian incidents hamper any progress made in this regard."

Sean Hagan concluded: "I appeal to anyone with information on the attack to contact police immediately."
