Alliance North Antrim Representative, Jayne Dunlop

North Antrim Alliance representative, Jayne Dunlop, has condemned a robbery on a Ballymoney post. The robbery took place this morning at Killans sub-post office on the Bendooragh Road.

Jayne Dunlop stated: "I was shocked and saddened when I heard that a sub-post office in Ballymoney had been robbed this morning.

"This post office provides a vital service for the whole community, and such an incident can damage the confidence of the local community and cause severe stress for staff that work in the post office. I hope that those who carried out this contemptible crime are brought to justice.

Jayne Dunlop concluded: "I call on anyone that saw any suspicious activity in the area in the time leading up to the robbery, to contact police immediately."
