Alliance praises Housing Executive boost for inner-East Belfast

Alliance Party Victoria Councillor, Mervyn Jones, has welcomed the Housing Executive's announcement of an improvement programme for dwellings in East Belfast.

Cllr Jones, who is a member of the Council's housing liaison committee, said: "I am very pleased the Hosing Executive has committed itself to this vital regeneration scheme.

"Its great news that 253 properties in the Parkgate and Newtownards Road areas will be improved as part of the scheme.

"This project will play an important role in the regeneration of inner East Belfast and will give the area a significant boost."
