Alliance revulsion at North Belfast murder

The Alliance Party has expressed revulsion at the murder of a 15-year-old boy on the Somerton Road in Belfast last night.

North Belfast Alliance representative Marjorie Hawkins stated: "This is a truly horrifying attack and I extend my deepest sympathy to the family of the victim. The local community is in a state of shock this morning."

Young Alliance Chairman Ian James Parsley, whose mother is from the area, stated: "I am truly appalled at this attack. My thoughts and prayers go out to friends and family of the victim. This is very distressing for everyone in the area."
