Petrol Bombing must stop - Alliance

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Fri 23rd Aug 2002

Alliance Party Councillor for Castlereagh Central, Michael Long has condemned the latest petrol bomb attack on a flat in the area.

The flat at Ravenswood Park was petrol bombed at about 1am this morning.

Councillor Long said

" It is disgraceful that yet again a home is damaged as a result of petrol bombs being thrown. We should not have to tolerate this in a supposedly civilised society. Those who persist in this thuggish and criminal behaviour must be caught and stopped from carrying out these activities. I would appeal to anyone who has information which could lead to their arrest to contact the Police immediately."
