Alliance criticise Magennis' crocodile teras

The words of Martin McGuinness yesterday when he said that a vicious attack on a Co Armagh student was "wrong and should not have happened" ring very hollow.

His attempt to spin this 20-year-old man's horrific abduction and beating and his "concern" over the shooting of Danny McBrearty in Derry - an area where Mr McGuinness exercises much influence in republican circles - is difficult to reconcile with events on the streets.
