O'Brien condemns Holywood pipebomb attack

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Sat 7th Jun 2003

Alliance Councillor, Susan O'Brien, has condemned this morning's pipebomb attack on a prison officer's family in Princess Gardens Holywood.

Susan O'Brien stated:

"This is another brutal attack upon a defenceless family. It is only through luck that more damage and injury was avoided.

"People must have the right to live in safety in their homes.

"Everyone must work with the police to catch those who are bringing fear to the streets and homes of Holywood."
