Lisburn City goes better with Coke

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Wed 27th Apr 2005

Seamus Close, an Alliance Party Councillor on Lisburn City Council, has welcomed today's announcement that Coca-Cola is to increase their investment in Northern Ireland, by locating a plant in Lisburn City.

The Lagan Valley MLA said: "I am absolutely delighted with the news that Coca-Cola is coming to Lisburn with their all-Ireland plant. This will further enhance our rate base, increase employment, and ensure that Lisburn is the place to work, rest and play.

"Things go better with Coke; Lisburn City certainly will."
