It's not just Gray - UDA must go away: Long

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Wed 30th Mar 2005

Responding to the news that UDA East Belfast leader Jim Gray has been 'ousted', East Belfast Assembly member and Councillor, Naomi Long, stated:

"Frankly, few people will really care that there has been a change in management in the UDA. What ordinary people want is for the UDA to go out of business.

"Like the IRA, the UDA serves no purpose other than to terrorise communities and engage in criminal activity. East Belfast has had enough of paramilitarism. The UDA should disband."
