Ford congratulates first nationalist Mayor of Antrim12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Mon 7th Jun 2004 ALLIANCE South Antrim MLA David Ford has congratulated Councillor Bobby Loughran on becoming Antrim Borough's first nationalist mayor. Mr Ford said: "I want to congratulate Bobby on achieving the top post in Antrim, which he thoroughly deserves after so many years of service to his constituents. I know he will do a good job as Mayor. "While I served on the Council myself, I worked hard to ensure fair sharing of positions, and am now delighted that this has now reached the top post."
