Adam Harbinson has lived in Bangor for over thirty years. He trained as an engineer but now holds a degree in Sociology from UUJ, a subject lectured in for a time at SERC. These days he finds time to serve on the board of Citizens Advice Bureau in South Down as well as his work as a Debt Advisor there and Downpatrick Credit Union. Adam is also a published author, a newspaper columnist and broadcaster and is the current Chairman of the North Down Association of the Alliance Party. He is married to Pauline and between them they have seven grown up children and five grandsons. Pauline is a lecturer in SERC.
