• As a social worker and senior manager in
health and social services I have led
change and worked to tackle complex
issues.

• In retirement, as a volunteer, I will be
working to promote the wellbeing of
children whose families are unable to care
for them.

• My political interests include health and
social services, environmental issues and
building a shared future for all.

• I am married to Laraine, a retired local
school teacher. We have grown-up
children and several grandchildren. I seek
election to Lisburn Council particularly to
play my part in promoting and protecting
services for families and children.
